General Information

This optional preparatory course is intended for students enrolled in the Numerics course who have little or no prior experience in programming (with Julia). The "Praktikum zur Numerik" certificate is awarded as part of the Numericals course and the associated exercises. Participation in this preparatory course is not required to earn this certificate. Upon completion of the course, participants should be able to implement a simple mathematical algorithm in Julia in such a way that it can be used to solve a numerical problem. In particular, the course aims to provide participants with sufficient knowledge to independently solve the programming assignments given as part of the Numericals course.
