Seminar: Optimierung mit PDE-Bedingungen (SS 11)

• Die Termine für die nächsten Vortragenden wurden eine Woche nach hinten verschoben.

Ablauf

• Um alle Teilnehmer auf den gleichen Stand zu bringen, hat es am Donnerstag, 03. März 2011 und 10. März 2011 (Raum M3) jeweils 14-16 Uhr einen Einführungsvortrag zum Thema geben, in welchem grundlegene Konzepte aus der Funktionalanalysis und der partiellen Differentialgleichungen wiederholt werden. Inhalte hiervon waren:
  • Konzepte und Strategie im endlich-dimensionalen Fall,
  • lineare normierten Vektorräume und lineare Abbildungen darauf,
  • schwache Konvergenz,
  • Sobolev-Räume,
  • schwache Lösungen partieller Differentialgleichungen (insbesondere der Poisson-Gleichung),
  • Differenzieren in Banachräumen.
  Diese Einführung orientiert sich an [1, pp. 1--38] und [1, pp. 44--47], was allen Teilnehmern zur Verfügung gestellt wird. Die Teilnahme wurde dringend empfohlen.
• Jeder Teilnehmer erhält einen Forschungsartikel. Dieser soll bearbeitet und verstanden werden. Für Fragen und eine Lesestrategie steht der Betreuer auf Anfrage zur Verfügung.
• Wichtig ist das Verständnis des roten Faden und der wesentlichen Ideen; es muß nicht jedes einzelne Gleichheitszeichen verstanden werden.
• Jeder Teilnehmer sollte ein kurzes Handout (etwa 5-10 Seiten) erstellen, in welchem die wichtigsten Punkte hervorgehoben und evtl. bewertet werden.
• Im Semesters hält jeder Teilnehmer einen 60-70 minütigen Vortrag mit anschließender Diskussion.
• Der Vortrag darf nur gehalten werden, wenn er rechtzeitig mit dem Betreuer abgesprochen wurde, d.h. wenn er mind. eine Woche zuvor dem Betreuer probegehalten wurde.
